The Gallery System Push Button Security Hook
For the added peace of mind to help avoid snatch and run art theft, these hooks are the perfect solution. The cable behind your art is captive behind the metal security latch. The thief will need to take time to release the cable (if they know the secret!) before they can steal the art.
These hooks are sold in packs of 10 and suit the Gallery Stainless Cable Hangers, Traditional Picture Rail Hangers and our Slimline Stainless Cable Hangers.
Maximum weight on one Gallery System Push-Button Security Hook is 20kg (44 lbs).
On the SLIMLINE system, the hook has a maximum weight of 15kg (33 lbs).
IMPORTANT: Use two hangers and hooks for all pictures weighing over the recommended maximum hook weight. During the hanging process, ensure the weight of the picture is evenly distributed on both hooks at ALL times. This will prevent overloading one hook which may result in damage to the hook or hanger.
